Kitsilano Neighbourhood House (‘Kits House’), member of the Association of Neighbourhood Houses BC, is a registered non-profit, charity organization dedicated to meeting the needs of those most vulnerable as well as providing an opportunity for everybody in our community to get together and be engaged.

We offer many different programs like volunteer-led English Conversation Circles, weekly hot lunches for seniors, childcare and much more. We are the only Neighbourhood House on the Westside and serve many different communities like Kitsilano, Dunbar, Arbutus Ridge and Point Grey.

Salish Sea Eco-retreats
Rediscover the wilderness. Scott and his Salish Sea Eco-retreats partner, Tara Souch offer annual eco-retreats for wilderness guides and interested professionals. He is the author of four books of poetry and has, in the past, edited two poetry magazines, “Raven” and “Circular Causation”. A retired member of the B.C. Teacher’s Federation, Scott has taught at all levels of public education from grade two to post-Secondary.

Sustainability and Ethics
Hear how a red-necked Alberta boy became a leading expert on sustainability collaborating with like-minded folk on evolving capitalism to the next level. Dr. Mark Pezarro is a natural capitalist, sustainability professor & yoga teacher. Mark will tell his story and introduce City University of Canada’s exciting BA in Management (BAM).
